January and Motivation

Total Miles: 39 Miles.
Strength Workouts: 30 Day Shred Level 2
Goals achieved: First 5K!
Longest Run: 4.78 Miles.
State of the thyroid: No real changes. I have another round of blood in a few weeks. It will be easier to judge when I can see my numbers. The only change I have noticed is some fatigue in the late afternoon. Exercise helps to boost my energy levels back up but I also think a Synthroid adjustment with more sleep might do the trick.

Many of you may be familiar with Map My Walk/Map My Run sites. They allow people to use maps to track routes for running, walking, and biking. You can also search routes that others have posted in your local area.  The have a new contest called “MapMyFitness 2011Resolution Challenge!“. You sign up for various challenges and there are various drawings for prizes. I signed up for the 30 miles in 30 days.
